How to steam Xiaolongbao deliciously using an electric steamer
In the case of an electric steamer
What you need to cook
- MK Seiko's electric steamer
- Steamer (attachment for electric steamer, 18cm diameter)
- Cooking sheet (for lining the steamer)
- 200cc of water
- Plate
- Mittens or dish towels
How to make it
*Before using the steamer, soak it in water to absorb moisture.
This will prevent the steamer from breaking.
① Place the steam cylinder on the main body, add 200cc of water, and attach the tray.
* Make sure the concave side faces you and that it is firmly attached to the main unit.
②Next, arrange the Xiaolongbao in the steamer.
Lay out a sheet of baking paper and place the xiaolongbao on it.
*Up to 5 Xiaolongbao can be arranged in one steamer.
*If you are using cooking paper, you can leave it as is,
If you use a special spoon for Xiaolongbao, the dumplings will stick to the spoon if you leave it as is.
Apply a small amount of oil and then place the xiaolongbao on it.

3. Stack the steamers, place them on the main unit, plug them in, and set the timer to 15 minutes.
④After 15 minutes, open the lid and place the steamer on a plate.
*There is a risk of getting burned by steam, so do not touch it with bare hands, but always use mittens or a towel.
Make sure you hold the steamer.
Care after use
Be sure to unplug the power cord from the outlet, and when discarding any remaining water, wait until the hot water has cooled before doing so, taking care not to allow water to get on the power cord or timer.
After discarding the remaining water through the water outlet, remove the steam bottle, wipe it with a dry cloth and lay it flat to dry.

To wash the steamer, scrub it with a scrubbing brush without using detergent, and then dry it in a well-ventilated place.
