Frying pan size and water content by size
Diameter (inner diameter) | Moisture content | 1st time | Second time |
20cm (16cm) | 140-150cc | 90cc-100cc | 50-60cc |
22cm (14cm) | 150-160cc | 100-110cc | 50-60cc |
24cm (20cm) | 170-180cc | 110-120cc | 60-70cc |
26cm (20cm) | 200-210cc | Put everything in | - |
The amount is based on the amount of water used when using a portable stove and the above frying pan. Even if the diameter is the same, the amount of water varies depending on the size of the inner diameter.
Since the heat output and shape of the frying pan will vary from household to household, we hope you will use this table as a reference to find the optimal amounts for your home.
If the frying pan is 26 cm in diameter and has an inner diameter of less than 20 cm, adding all the water at once will raise the water level and cause the batter to end up soggy, so add about 2/3 of the water the first time, put the lid on, and then add the remaining 1/3 of the water after 3 minutes.
Even if the amount of water changes, be sure to cover and cook for the full 5 minutes.
*The frying pan used in the video on how to cook magical fried dumplings is the 26cm one shown above.
